On Thursday, April 30th, 2026, the Library Unit and UNDIP Press, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business Library, held an E-Resources Training event. The training, titled “Smart Literacy Collaboration: Utilizing E-Resources for Scientific Writing,” was attended by undergraduate and doctoral students from various departments. The event was moderated by Alya Pradipta, FEB UNDIP Library Student Ambassador, as Master of Ceremonies. Dr. Wahyu Meiranto, S.E., Akt., M.Si., delivered the Dean’s remarks, representing the Vice Dean for Resources, and opened the training.

The training covered UNDIP e-resources and the use of the Zotero and VOSViewer applications. The training session, led by the speaker, Mr. Sugeng Priyanto, began with tips and tricks for writing scientific papers, such as creating specific topics using the 5W+1H formula, conducting search queries using synonyms, conducting literature reviews using AI, and paraphrasing. The session then continued with how to access e-resources, specifically journals subscribed to by UNDIP. The speaker then explained the types of journals subscribed to by UNDIP, including the availability of SCOPUS as an international journal index. The speaker also explained how to add research fields, use SCOPUS AI, and export journals as RIS files to Zotero to simplify the citation process. The downloaded RIS files can also be entered into the VOSViewer application to map research topics. Topics can be mapped based on trends, density, and relationships between topics, making it easier for students to see trends in a research topic.

Participants enthusiastically participated in the event until the end at 12:30 p.m. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend. See you at the next FEB library event!
