
On Thursday, May 21, 2026, the Library Unit and UNDIP Press, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business Library, held an AI training session. The training, titled “Smart Literacy Collaboration: Using AI in Scientific Writing,” was attended by undergraduate and doctoral students from various departments. The event was hosted by Gusti Ayu Radeni Citra, the Reading Ambassador of the FEB UNDIP Library, as Master of Ceremonies. Dr. Idris, S.E., M.Si., the Coordinator of Research and Community Service, and the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, opened the event and delivered remarks.
The training session was led by Ms. Fahimah, S.Sos., from the Library Unit and Undip Press. The training focused on the Basic Concepts of AI. AI is a technology that enables machines to mimic human intelligence, including learning, analyzing, and making decisions. AI in an Academic Context: In academia, AI is used to assist researchers and academics in various aspects of scientific writing, from literature searches to data analysis.
